What PRP Can — and Cannot — Do for Hair
PRP is best thought of as supportive therapy for hair. It can help with density and slowing progression of thinning, particularly in early androgenetic patterns. It is not a hair transplant, and it does not create new follicles where none exist. Advanced hair loss with fully shrunken follicles will not respond meaningfully.
For most clients, the honest answer is: PRP works best as part of a broader plan that may include topical or oral hair medications, nutrition, and consistent maintenance.
