Choosing where to have an aesthetic treatment is a health-care decision. These questions can help you compare clinics and feel confident going into any consultation — including one with us.
Qualifications and experience
- Who will perform my treatment, and what are their credentials?
- Are they a regulated health professional (e.g. RN, NP, physician)?
- How much experience do they have with this specific treatment?
Safety and suitability
- Will you review my medical history, medications and allergies?
- Is this treatment suitable for me — and when would you advise against it?
- What are the possible risks and side effects?
- How are complications managed, and who do I contact after hours?
Products and informed consent
- Which products or devices are used, and are they approved in Canada?
- Will I receive a written consent form to review before treatment?
- Do I have time to think about it before deciding?
Expectations and aftercare
- What is a realistic outcome for me, and how long might it last?
- What downtime or aftercare should I plan for?
- Is a follow-up appointment included?
Costs and planning
- What is the estimated total cost, including follow-ups?
- Are there flexible payment options available?
- Is there any pressure to book today? (There shouldn't be.)
